Jonathon and Phillip Moraitis of NWI Group Attend INTERWEIGH 2025 in Shanghai

Managers of NWI Group, Jonathon and Phillip Moraitis, recently travelled to Shanghai, China, to attend the prestigious International Weighing Exhibition (INTERWEIGH)—a key event in the global weighing industry. This year marked the exhibition’s return to its regular April schedule for the first time since the disruptions caused by COVID-19.

Held every other year, INTERWEIGH showcased a wide spectrum of weighing technologies across three expansive halls, featuring both established and emerging innovations. Attendees explored everything from load cells and touchscreen systems to advanced signal processors and data capture instruments. Being hosted in Shanghai many exhibitors were Chinese manufacturers, however a strong presence of European companies highlighted the international scope of the event and the strategic importance of the Chinese market.

During the exhibition, Phillip and Jonathon engaged with numerous long-standing suppliers of NWI Group, gaining insights into the latest product developments and technological trends.

Among the standout innovations was the LPS scale ( Low Profile Scale), with a height of only 40mm. Featuring a raisable platform for easy cleaning, on both manual struts of automated (powered struts) for the large platform. This design is especially suited for pharmaceutical and food industry applications, offering a practical solution to hygiene and maintenance challenges.
